DRAFT OF IDENTITY CARD FOR STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ISLAMIC WORLD

Seeking to enhance communication and relationships between university students of the Islamic world and help them obtain the necessary facilities and the discounts necessary to take advantage of various services required during their university career, especially for discounts on transportation costs, subsistence and medical care, facilities and access to libraries, laboratories and museums and to attend cultural and artistic activities, the Secretariat General of the Federation has established an identity card for university students of the Islamic world, according to the following:

Legal: Identity card of university students in the Islamic world Technical Description: The map includes: Name and surname of the student, nationality, date and place of birth; Logo and address of the Federation; Duration; Serial number of the card; The data included in the Arabic and English or


Arabic and French, and English or French, depending on the choice of the university or the student.

Stages of production:
The Secretariat General of the Federation submitted the project to the 2nd Session of the Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Tripoli, Libya, 6-9 September 2003), which gave its approval in principle of project and recommended that relevant parties concerned to support and encourage. After the adoption of the draft by the Executive Council and General Conference, the Secretariat will develop technical studies on the printing form of the map, reviewing legal procedures to enable holders of the card receive necessary services and financial costs related to, the settlement means, etc.. This project was submitted to the 8th session of the Executive Board has adopted and decided to attend the 3rd General Conference of the Federation. The Secretariat will follow up the recommendations and resolutions adopted by the General Conference in this regard.
